Rev. Eric Atkins
Associate Pastor of Education and Missions

Eric was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on August 30, 1978. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1996 and continued his education at Carson Newman College. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion in 2000, he married his lovely wife, Cindy, and they moved to North Carolina to study at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

While away, Eric and Cindy were blessed with their first child, Isaac (7). Eric earned his Master of Divinity degree in 2004 and returned to Athens, TN. In 2007, Eric’s family grew again with the birth of their daughter, Anna (3).

Eric is bi-vocational and works as the Shipping Coordinator for Hydra Pools, a division of PI, Inc.
